Title: Allow Him to Lead

Scripture: “Now Jesus, full of [and in perfect communication with] the Holy Spirit, returned from the Jordan and was led by the Spirit in the wilderness”

‭‭Luke‬ ‭4:1‬ ‭AMP‬‬

If ever there is any thing I would wish for anyone, especially a born again believer, it would be the ability to hear God’s voice on daily basis. You can’t imagine the beauty of life when it is in constant and perfect alignment with the will of God. When your every step is directed by the Holy Spirit, even if it’s into the wilderness like Jesus, there is an assurance of safety. Imagine the hurdles you would overcome, the dangers you would escape, the mistakes you would avoid, the disappointments and heartbreaks you would be saved from if you allow the Holy Spirit to lead. No doubt Jesus had a fulfilling life and successful ministry. The Bible says he was in “perfect communication” with the Holy Spirit. Which supposes that, he was consistently led by the Holy Spirit. No wonder within a period of three (3) years, he was able to accomplish his purpose in life. In like manner, we could also fulfil our purposes more swiftly and smoothly if we would allow the Holy Spirit to lead us. 

Prayer:

Lord, make me sensitive to your voice and obedient to your leadings. Amen
